Rate Structure

The rate for labor doula services is a flat fee, all inclusive of these services, and can be split into 2 payments with a deposit (half the fee) due at contract signing.

• $900, Hospital doula clients within a 20 mile service area.
• $50 travel fee outside the 20 mile service area.

DISCOUNTED RATES

• $750 – Mountain Midwifery Center clients (Colorado’s only freestanding birth center).  I offer a $50 discount to MMC clients in support of midwifery and out-of-hospital birth.
• $600 – Homebirth clients – I offer this rate for those having a homebirth in support of out-of-hospital birth.  Additionaly, these clients are continuously supported in their own home by the midwifery team as well (and have the lowest transport and intervention rates), which honestly, makes my job easier.  
• Repeat Clients – I love returning clients and offer a $50 discount.
• It is my intent that financial limitations would never hinder a woman or couple from receiving doula services.  Payment plans, bartering (trade for services), sliding scale, and credit card payments through Paypal are some of the options to aid in this area.  Please contact me for additional options, if needed.

*Did you know?  – doula fees are reimbursable by health care FSA’s, and may be partially or fully reimbursed by insurance.  There is now an approved CPT billing code just for doula services.

*Do you have a baby registry?  Ask friends and family to contribute to doula services as a registry item.
